Basset Hound Night by Unconventional XStitch

with DMC as charted
This is my first Unconventional XStitch project and so far it's been great. Easy to get into Pattern Keeper and the colours seem to flow well. That could be how the design is, or their charting, not sure. It seems easier than the HAED SAL project, but again, could be I'm comparing different things.
Anyone else notice differences between full coverage designers? I don't think I've stitched enough of them to know much difference at this point.

How funny that Van Gogh tribute by this lovely basset dog! Your challenge should help me to go back to my cross stitch basket! Allways great and encouraging to see stitching friends busy with new projects. xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a great start! There are differences between full coverage designers for sure. HAED has become such a mass product, it's pure automatic charting right now with very little to none manual clean up. Other designers don't release such a sheer amount of patterns, but still put some actual work in, and I think it shoes.
