Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop!

This is my first year joining in the Easter Blog Hop. I hope you all have a fun time hopping from blog to blog over the weekend.

Here's your letter:

Easter was always fun for my brother and I growing up. Our Dad always hid things in the strangest places, like in a lamp shade, behind the music stand on the piano, never the obvious places. That was a lot of fun. After church we'd go to our grandparents and all the cousins would try and find the candy they'd hidden in their backyard. It was a lot of fun growing up and I hope I can do the same for DD every year.

Here's a couple Easter egg freebies stitched up:

And now go visit A Stitching Grandma for your next letter.

Happy Hopping!

  7. Ooo, I love those eggs! My mom was great at hiding Easter baskets...the one I remember most is her hanging one behind the curtains...there was no space between the curtain and the wall, but the window was set deep enough that by hanging the basket from the curtain rod, it was hidden! Took me forever to find! Happy Easter to you!

  13. Those are great freebie eggs! I love the colors you used in the first one. The place that stands out the most for me because I was so amazed how silly my parents could be -- one was in the egg carton in the fridge. That day I learned even parents can be trolls. Thank you for your letter and Happy Easter!

  14. Beautiful stitching! The Easter Bunny hid our baskets. It took us forever to find my sister's the year it was hidden in the otherwise empty dishwasher - lol! That is a tradition the Easter Bunny continued in our home (though never in the dishwasher!) Happy Easter!
