On to February plans!
I'm joining up with Kerry's Theme-tas-Stitch this month for Focus Finish February. I'm going to stick with my weekly rotation and work on Dragon Under Glass for the HAED/BAP week. It was here last year when I started it March 4th of last year for an HAED Facebook challenge:
You have to finish another page, so I've started the next page over after tucking in these loose ends. I've stitched on it 2 days so far and will post an update when I remember to take a photo. :)
For the 2nd week of Focus Finish February I'm going to restart the Lakeside Needlecraft Under-the-Sea SAL. I had finished the first month as a coaster:
but now the 2nd month has come out and it's a really cool shark with fish surrounding it and the 2 larger designs fit so well together that I'm going to start the whole thing over as one big design. I can't find a photo to show you, but I will be done as soon as I can in about 10 days or so. Here's a floss toss with most of the colours:
Max was examining what I was up to as well. DH helped me choose a piece of Eilat that looks pretty good with everything else. You can see the pile of fabric that didn't make the "cut" on the arm of the chair too. :)
So that's the first couple weeks of February taken care of and I'll try and get an update on Dragon Under Glass in the next few days.
I hope you all have a good weekend!
Happy Stitching!

Congrats on the cute finishes!! Looking forward to your new start:)
ReplyDeleteLovely finishes. Looking forward to the remake of Under-The-Sea on that terrific fabric. Good luck with the HAED.
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic fabric for the SAL!!! I can't wait to see more :)
ReplyDeleteButterfly is so colourful, very pretty.
Sounds like tou have a great plan for FFF. The butterfly is gorgeous and your February is really pretty. The thread name for it is so funny! Happy stitching. X
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching.
ReplyDeleteA great update! I saw the octopus and shark together, they really look great.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the cute finishes Tiffany. Love your plans so far. I so wish I could stick to some kind of rotation. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Thank you! We'll see how it goes throughout the year, but so far so good. I am really tempted to get straight to the SAL though.
DeleteLovely finishes and some grand plans for stitching and finishing for February - Good luck with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes! The under the sea SAL is looking very cute so far but I am still resisting it! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely finishes. I must look up the Feb pattern as its my birthday month. I will be joining you for Focus Finish February but only with one project.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Good idea. I'm sure you'll be able to get a lot of progress spending a month on one project.
DeleteBeautiful finishes. Great Feb goals. Good luck!! The fabric for the Under the Sea SAL looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute finish and a great fabric you picked for the Under the Sea SAL! The butterfly is lovely as well. If that group is going on a while longer still, I might get to make a contribution as well - I really like the patterns and the cause, I just don't have the time!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And yes, I hope to get a couple more done in the next few months. They're on Facebook and still collecting from everyone.
DeleteA dazzling butterfly, so bright and cheerful
ReplyDeleteTwo great finished pieces. I can totally understand that you want to start the Under-the-Sea SAL over on one big piece of fabric. I'm sure that there will be many more fantastic motifs. And that fabric is quite simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCute finishes and I want to start the Under-the-Sea too, I just have to finish some other things first!
ReplyDeleteCute finishes and I love the Floss toss!!!! Looks great!
