And then I managed to stitch a little more the next day and get here slightly less successfully:
I say it this way because I made an error near the top of the arch somewhere and I have to try and figure out where it is. Fortunately with the pattern I'm able to keep what I've stitched and will have to start from where I know it's correct at the top of the arch and go from there and try and fix it. Boo... But I guess you could look at it as I need to stick with this longer, because there's no way I'm going to remember I did this next time I get it out.
I also stitched on Dragon Under Glass one night:
and Bailey Basset, which was here:
and I filled in most of the diagonal bits to get to here:
I'm stitching this one 2 over 1 tent stitch on 25 ct charcoal linen and hope to get back to this at some point as well.
I had an ice hockey tournament this weekend, so 2 nights I only had time for Princess and the Dragon. If you want to see what I look like with my helmet on:
It was fun, and I have another tournament this coming weekend. This next one is in Stowe, Vermont and the arena just happens to be less than a mile from The Wooden Needle, my closest LNS. :D And we have hours between the games on Saturday, and DH and DD won't be able to join me on Saturday, so I will have so much time to look at everything! The owner might have to kick me out eventually.
I'm only looking forward to it a little bit.............
Tonight I hope to get the bunny HAED from WOXS out again and get a little bit into it after I finish my one thread on Princess and the Dragon. Wish me luck!
Happy Stitching!

Good luck on your tournament this weekend, love your photo so cute.
ReplyDeleteI see loads of progress on Princess and the Dragon since I last visited.
Blessings

ReplyDeleteThank you! It will be a lot of fun all around. :)
DeleteNice progress on all your projects. You look good in the picture. Have fun at the tournament and LNS.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I do love hockey almost as much as cross stitching. :)
DeleteThat's a lot of stitching! Hope you have a great time shopping.
ReplyDeleteYou look great in helmet Tiffany. Great progress on all of your projects. Sorry about the frog visit. Have fun shopping and good luck with the game.
ReplyDeleteLinda
:) Thanks Linda. It should be good!
DeleteHow frustrating with the mistake. I hope it's an easy fix. You've made some great progress on your other pieces too. Good luck with your tournament and have fun at your LNS, don't forget to show us your new stash pictures if you get any.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching.I made a boo like that and had to stick with my project until I had worked it right again,it got a lot more attention thsn it otherwise would have:)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great match and a good browse in the LNS.
Good luck in the tournament at the weekend and happy shopping! Nice stitchy progress.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on your pieces.
ReplyDeleteLove your picture!! Have a great time at the tournament... but most especially in the cross stitch shop!!! ;) Don't forget to show us your new stash.
Nice progress! The fabric for Princess and the Dragon is real pretty. Glad to know you aren't missing teeth from playing hockey! I'm a hockey fan of the Arizona Coyotes and Detroit Red Wings and I'm so impressed that you play hockey, a cross stitching hockey player or a hockey player who cross stitches, lol!
ReplyDeleteIn women's hockey we tend to wear full masks, so less chance we'll lose any teeth. :) If I could only do both and not have to work, that would be amazing!
DeleteShame about the boo-boo but at least you've spotted it and can hopefully put it right. I guess this is where some people would recommend gridding? I CBA to grid LOL
ReplyDeleteNice hockey photo and good to see all the teeth are still there!
Good luck for your tournament ! Enjoy shopping too:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful progress. Hope you find your error and it's a quick easy fix. Enjoy your tournament but mostly the shopping haha. I need to get to a LNS to buy some fabric for upcoming projects.
ReplyDeleteTell that dragon to eat that frog!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture - wear your mask while shopping, I'm sure they'll let you stay as long as you like!
Ice hockey and cross stitch...what a non-cliché combination, I love it!
ReplyDelete:) I started playing hockey first, at age 9 and cross stitch was much later.
DeleteGood luck with all your stitchy plans. And also good luck at the tournament.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching...such a treat to see you in the hockey helmet!
