I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to stitch tonight. We don't have A/C and sometimes it's just too hot! Therefore, I thought it was time for an update, besides the weather report, on some of my other stitching.
Geeky Heather and I are doing a SAL for Letter H of the Letters from Nora series. If you remember, I was in the midst of unpicking my misplaced letter when I last showed a photo:
April 12, 2017
And it did, eventually:
and then it grew:
and it grew:
and it grew a leg:
and it grew a head:
and more wings:
and the last of the wings:
and that's where she is for now. The finished model will look approximately like this:
only I'm using the charted colours on 28 count Jobelan called Nuriel's Forest from Chromatic Alchemy.
So there's a decent amount left, but also a decent start. I try and get it out for a few stitches at least on Wednesdays. How's yours coming along Heather?
Happy Stitching!

Fantastic progress Tiff. These letters are stitching up beautifully on the fabric. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteShe looks great Tiffany. Awesome progress.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Thank you!
DeleteBeautiful stitching Tiffany!!
ReplyDeleteI always admire the fabric colours you're using on your projects... they all look fabulous.
Stay cool ;)
Beautiful progress. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteWonderful stitching. You got a lot done after having to frog so much. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress and I feel your pain on the weather...we've got storms moving in too, so it's making the humidity even worse, but I'd much rather be hot than cold!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress and the fabric is lovely too!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty
ReplyDeleteche bella Tiff! Anche qui fa caldo
ReplyDeleteShe is very pretty. Love your update! The updates one picture at a time are perfect
ReplyDeleteAwesome progress, Tiffany. And this fabric - just a dream.
ReplyDeletePS: and wow, it's really hot where you are. We don't have A/C either but fortunately we don't get these high temperatures even not in the hottest summer as we live in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteGosh, this is such a lovely design and what patience you have for unstitching. beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteLooks great :) If you make mistakes like this, I think it's a really good idea to stick with it and fix them right away!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And there will be more to fix, but I'm satisfied for now.
DeleteI remember the attack of the giant frog! Great new progress though. These do stitch up quite quickly once you get going.
ReplyDeleteGood progress on the letter, you are cruising along. 37 deg C seems a bit hot for where you live , well its better than 50 deg C in my part of the world.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And yes, so far we've never hit those temps, but we might hit 40C this year, July is usually the worst in our area.
DeleteOne stitch at a time, she's looking great!
ReplyDeleteOh, she's so pretty! I considered stitching these for my daughter, Katie, but just never got around to buying and stitching them. I thought a single L would be nice for myself. Maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have K any more and L was promised to the same person when I finally finish it. They may still be around when you get around to it too though.
DeleteGreat destinations. I don't have a list, my single destination would be your #1. I'm totally fascinated by the Rocky Mountains and that's where I would travel immediately.
