Stitchy Saturday - Another Finish!

Last night I had to leave off here:

because I had to work today and I needed to get enough sleep. I know, I know, I really wanted to stay up and finish, but it wasn't reasonable so I stopped.

And after I came home from work the first thing I did was get this back out and finish!

I'm very happy to be finished. The beady-eyed among you may notice the spacing in the last row is off. I noticed it as I was finishing the row. The V, E, and D of LOVED are one space taller than the other letters. I'm a little annoyed at it, but not enough to pick it all out and re-do it. The D is actually the same size as the O and L as charted, but when I noticed it was a different size than the E I went back and "fixed" it, not noticing that the E was off as well. I'm glad the VED are all the same size. I think if I had stitched it as charted it would look more bizarre.

I had DD look at it before I described the mistake and he couldn't find it, so that's good enough for me. It's a gift for a non-stitcher, so I don't think she will notice either. So if you stitch this piece, there are a couple times when the pattern has letters unfinished and the last row of large letters has a problem with the last V and E on the chart.

I hope you all had a great Saturday and some stitching time! I'm off to work on K again.

  1. You rally have to look hard to see the difference, so I wouldn't fix it either. Great stitching - that is one of my favourite quotes.

  2. Congrats on the awesome finish Tiffany. I would never have noticed a difference if you hadn't mentioned it.

  3. Great finish. I still can't see the difference even after you described it.

  5. Congrats! And I wouldn't worry about it...I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. What is it with goofy pattern instructions lately?

    1. Thanks. I thought of you when I found the error actually as far as how compulsive it might be to go back and fix it.

Hello all! So, with all those well-laid plans in place, of course, the following Thursday I injured my right elbow and hadn't been able ...
