WIPocalypse 2018: March

March has felt like it flew by, and I only posted a couple times. It was pretty busy with hockey tournaments, a conference and Easter right at the end. I'd like to post a bit about my WIPocalypse projects, my 18 in  '18 as Jo calls them. If you haven't heard of WIPocalypse, you can check out all the info at Measi's blog, and basically it's about finishing projects before the inevitable(?) apocalypse.

This month's question is:  What newer designers and product creators (fabric or floss dyeing, etc) out there have you discovered and recommend?

If you're a follower of my blog, you know I love Chromatic Alchemy fabrics. They're so soft and the colours are amazing! I've also joined Jodyri's threads of the month club for a whole set and I mentioned a new designer, Maria, in my last post.

On to my 18 in '18!

First, although I finished Covered Bridge in January, I bought a Mill Hill frame with a GC from 123 stitch and it's fully finished!
Fishing is moving along:
Ballerina Dreams:
Tribal Dragon:
Princess and the Dragon:
Ocean Curiosity:

Definitely some progress and I think there will be a few more finishes before the year is out.

Happy Stitching!

  2. Great progress! Everything looks beautiful. Congrats on the Mill Hill finish.

  3. Congrats on the pretty finish Tiffany. Nice progress on your other projects.

  4. Wonderful projects and progress.

  5. Great progress! The Mill Hill kit looks perfect in that frame.

  6. The perfect frame did Bridgs, it's finished it off beautifully.
    Fishing is looking good too.

  7. The finished covered bridge looks great in the frame! Great progress on your projects.

  8. You are Marching right along on those projects! (See what I did there? =)

  9. Congratulations on the FFO of one of your 18 and great work on some of the others.

  10. You sure did work on a lot - Fishing especially is looking great! Congrats on the framed bridge as well.

  11. Good progress on pretty designs. The covered bridge is perfect with its frame and I do like how Fishing is coming along, unusual colours.

Thanks for any comments!

People's Choice SAL - Most Stitched Designer

This week it's time to choose the designer we stitch the most. I think it's easy for some, but I tend to hop around and stitch on...
