Today's new start is a departure from a lot of the other projects I've been working on. Firstly, it's mini compared to most of my other ones, and second, it's a free pattern from Dork Stitch. She makes a lot of great patterns. Most of them are video game related, although she does some fun TV show ones as well. If you like stitching little sprites, her page is one you should visit.
I'm starting with the Samus sprite from the Metroid series of games. DH is a huge fan and I hope to get this finished without him noticing so it can be a Valentine's Day gift.
You can see a colour picture on Dork Stitch's site with the above link, and here's my small start:
I'm stitching these with 4 strands of DMC on 14 count silver perforated paper.
If you clicked on the link, you'll have seen there are 2 Samus designs, wait for the second one on another day!
Happy Stitching,
Tiffstitch

Thank you. I hope to finish her up quickly.
DeleteThis means nothing to me so I'll look forward to seeing the finished piece, hopefully in time for Valentine's day! :)
ReplyDeleteI have no idea about these characters in TV series. I hope your hubby enjoys all the attention your needles are giving him :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Good luck getting it finished up by Valentine's.
ReplyDeleteA very different choice. Afraid it means nothing to me either, but good luck getting it (secretly) done in time.
ReplyDeleteHow is stitching on the paper? Any issues?
