All the outlines are identical, so you don't have to wait for the pattern for owl #3 to come out to start it. So I counted out from the edge the same amount as owl #1, and here's my start:
I will likely start Owl #2 soon and see how the spacing might work. I think the owls are going to be really, really close together though.
I don't think the Super Bowl is very conducive to stitching. Or maybe it's just all the food... Your thoughts?

Happy Stitching,

I don't envy you the counting to get the spacing right but you still made a good start. You obviously enjoyed the superbowl! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good Tiffany. I only watch the superbowl for the commercials and I thought they were horrible this year. I was very disappointed in the Budweiser one.

I didn't realise these were all going on an afghan! It's going to look amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to look great, I love owls! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat start.
Good luck! Spacing always scares me so I totally understand your fear.
ReplyDeleteWe had our food before the superbowl so I was able to stitch the whole. I only watch for the commercials and I was disappointed too. The Clydesdale one is normally my favorite and I didn't like it at all. My fav was the singing sheep for the Honda Truck commercial.
Your owl looks like he's off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteI try to stitch during the SuperBowl, but my friends and I all chat so much it's hard to do it. One of my friends was making cocktails, and stitching while drinking rum is never a good idea for me, I always end up having to frog the stitching I do manage :)
I'm curious to see what this one's nickname will be!
ReplyDeleteNo super bowl here - I'm not into football and the cats don't get a vote! The owls are going to be wonderful.
