Turtle Trot - May Edition

I managed a fair amount of work on 3 projects this month. I'm hoping to have another finish by next check-in for Turtle Trot. We're hosted by the incredible Claudette of BAP Attack who might have just recently stopped starting new projects.

In case you're new to Turtle Trotting, we work on BAPs and try and progress on those big projects that take the longest. I've turned mine into more of a "hope to finish" top 10 and have added new ones as I finished others. You can see all my stitching WIPs and finishes for Turtle Trot on my page

This month I worked on:

7. White Wolves went from here:
to  here:

I'm really hoping for a finish on this one before next check in. It's my oldest WIP/UFO and I would love to finish it. I hope to give it to my brother for his birthday this year. It's in November, so I'll even have time to get it framed.

9. Tribal Dragon went from here:
to here:

I'm almost done the dark blue for the wings, although this will go back on the back burner for a while now.

10. Letters from Nora - K went from here in January:
to here:

This is for a good friend who was very helpful when my DD was born.

And I didn't touch any other projects. Once White Wolves is complete I hope to finish K and then we'll see where I go from there.

I hope everyone had a good month and I look forward to checking out your progress and cheering you on.

Happy Stitching,

Tiffstitch

  5. Wow! White wolves looks lovely, and so close to a finish, that would keep me awake at night. I rarely get to finish stuff (own worst enemy) but once I see the finish line...Go! Go! Go! Keep up the good work :)

    1. I will admit to not getting to bed as early as I should be the last few nights. I am trying to get it finished and yes, so close to the end makes it hard to stop.

  8. I ignored my Turtle Trot pieces this time around, but yours look beyond awesome!!! I love that wolf kit; I started it once but it's languishing somewhere.
