Top 5 Tuesdays: Top 5 Quick Stitches in My Stash

It's Tuesday and time again for Top 5 Tuesdays! Kate has another great theme, and a fun way to dig through stash or wish lists: Top 5 Quick Stitches.

I tend to stitch on slightly larger than quick stitches, and I'm not counting the HaED Quick Stitches as something you can actually stitch quickly, since that is only relative to a full size HAED.

I decided to go with 2 groups of 5 again, and make sure to check out Emma's and Keeble's blogs as well.

TOP 5 QUICK STITCHES - Charts

1. House of Bats

This is one of a pile of charts I found at a resale shop. For $2, you can't go wrong!

2. February Glows

Another resale shop find! I meant to stitch this for Valentine's Day this year, but it didn't quite happen.

3. True Friends

I received this from the wonderful Kim as one of her birthday RAKs. Thank you again! I have an idea of changing this to Xmas colours for a gift this year.

4. Be Mine Valentine

5. Friends Are Like Angels

I think this is part of the charts I picked up for $1 or $2 at the resale shop as well. I'm not sure that I'll ever stitch this one though, so if anyone would like it, please let me know.

I have a couple other smalls I may mention at the end, but let's switch to kits:

TOP 5 QUICK STITCHES - Kits

1. Rocking Horse
 2. Snowflake Tree
 sorry this one is blurry!
3. Normal
I'm counting this as a kit since it comes with the fabric and that's usually the more expensive part of the whole project.

4. Victorian Tree
my photo was so blurry I got this from 123stitch.com

5. Paisley Tree
my photo was too blurry again, this is from 123stitch.com

I have a couple other smalls in my smalls pile, one that I finished:
although it's not finished-finished yet...

and another one I think I'd like to give away:

I feel like it doesn't quite fit what I'm into stitching, so I'd be happy to pass it on. If you'd like either chart, please let me know. If there are a few people interested I'll do a random number pick after the weekend, so let me know by midnight EST on March 12, 2017 please!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Quite a few patterns which I like here. LK seems to be popular for smalls. I would love to receive the charts/kits you are giving away.
The housework one looks so close to a finish.

  2. I love Lizzie Kate designs. Your housework one is fab and the smile one is sweet one too. The Paisley tree is really lovely. Two fab lists.

  3. Nice selection.
The Lizzie Kate Friends are like Angels I have stitched for a couple of people and also received it as a gift from another stitcher.

  4. I stitched the Housework chart for my dad, certainly need to get round to stitching it for me too. I think a lot of lizzie kate charts are quick to stitch - probably adds to their popularity!

  5. You can't go wrong with LK for smalls :)
I'll be cheeky & enter your giveaway for the Friends are like Angels chart! I'll pass on the other cutie from LK because I actually had the opportunity to stitch it in the past.
Love the Snowflake tree, I hope you'll stitch that one soon and the Normal from LK too.

  10. Great choices. I have already stitched the Friends are Angels as a Travelling Pattern.
Love the Bent Creek District 13. I have discovered that Crafty Kitten has all three for sale!

  11. I love the theme of the TOP 5 very much. But as already dig through my stash for the Alphabet Club posts and show some of the designs in my stash it would be somehow redundant to join the TOP 5, lol. So I enjoy looking at your TOP 5 posts :)

  12. Some great choices! Both L*K and Mill Hill make for great quick stitches. I'd live to stitch the smile one, I think it's really cute!

  14. You really inspire me Tiff. So many different stitches and a great job on every single one of them. Way to go sister. Love the helmet picture of you. I participated in a 5K race over the weekend and came in third. Very surprised at my age. Will be 71 this month!

  15. Fantastic lists. Love the Mill Hill kits. Please don't enter me into your drawings though. Good luck to those who enter. I do love the Waxing Moon True Friends saying haha. Too funny.

Catch-up Post and Mischievous March

Hello again, things conspired so I didn't get a chance to put a post up, but I have been stitching. I also remembered to pick up my Misc...
